In the early 20th century, the nation on the island of Sardinia successfully expelled the colonizers. However, the current queen, Maria, lacks actual governing power. The true authority over Sardinian governance lies with the "Agnelli family," known as the Eastern Sardinian kings, and the "Saliere family," which has historically controlled a vast illegal underground organization in Sardinia. Together, they successfully expelled the colonial powers from the western continent and managed to stabilize the chaotic situation following the war, yet they found themselves divided on the issue of whether to welcome the exiled royal family back to Sardinia

From birth to death, and for two hundred years after death, the lich, who had never left the Necropolis and its surrounding territories and had almost no contact with the world of the living, lost its physical form while traversing dimensions.
